What does land clearing cost in Chester County?

Here are our actual rates, published because nobody else in the region will tell you theirs. Forestry mulching with a drum head and a park finish runs $3,200 to $4,200 per machine day. Brush clearing and pasture reclamation runs $2,800 to $3,600 per day. Lot and homesite clearing runs $2,000 to $4,000 per acre depending on density. Fence-line, trail, and sightline work runs $250 per hour with a four-hour minimum, and the job minimum is $1,500. Every figure is a range, not a quote, because every property is different: density, slope, moisture, and access decide where your job lands. Send 2 to 3 photos and a dropped pin to admin@theconscientgroup.com and you'll have a property-specific range within one business day, then a fixed price before any equipment arrives.

Pricing questions, answered straight

Why do you publish your rates when nobody else does?
Because you deserve a straight answer before you pick up the phone. The ranges are real, they come from our actual rate card, and the final number is a fixed crew-day price agreed before work begins. Companies that hide pricing are usually pricing by what they think you'll pay.
What makes a job land at the high or low end of a range?
Vegetation density is the biggest driver: an acre of light brush and an acre of matted multiflora rose are different days of work. Slope, ground moisture, access for the machines, and how much you want left standing set the rest.
Is there a minimum job size?
The job minimum is $1,500, which covers small one-visit projects like a backyard edge, a fence corner, or a sightline cut. Mobilization beyond 20 miles from Chadds Ford adds $150 to $300, stated in the quote up front.
Do you charge by the hour or a fixed price?
You get a fixed price before the equipment arrives, and it doesn't move unless the scope does. Open-ended hourly billing on land clearing shifts all the risk onto you; a fixed crew-day price keeps the risk on us, where it belongs.
Do you offer discounts, financing, or maintenance plans?
Veterans and first responders receive a discount on any service. Financing options and seasonal maintenance plans are available on request: inquire about them when you ask for your estimate.
