What does land clearing involve?
Land clearing removes what stands between your property and its next use: brush, saplings, deadfall, and debris. Our approach starts with mulching rather than wholesale excavation. We walk the parcel with you, mark what stays (mature shade trees, screening rows, anything the property is better for keeping), and clear the rest. Our equipment swaps between drum mulchers for standing growth and rock grapples for storm deadfall, old fence piles, and debris, so cleared material becomes ground cover instead of burn piles or dumpster loads. Typical calls include building-site and barn-site prep, view corridors, overgrown lots under agreement of sale, and storm cleanup. We serve Chester County and Delaware County in Pennsylvania and northern New Castle County in Delaware, working from our base in Chadds Ford.

- Do I need permits to clear land?
- Requirements vary by township and by how much ground gets disturbed. Mulching typically disturbs far less ground than excavation, which often simplifies the picture. We confirm the requirements for your township before work begins.
- Can you clear a wooded building site?
- Yes. We clear brush and small growth, drop and process marked trees, and leave the pad area clean for your excavator or builder to take grade.
- What happens to the cleared material?
- Most of it gets ground into mulch and spread on site. Material that has to leave (large trunks, contaminated debris) is grappled and staged for haul-off, which we scope with you up front.
